Slow Food Nation, to be held from August 29 to September 1, 2008 in San Francisco, will bring together thousands of people, including sustainable farmers, foragers, fisherman, cheese makers, activists, and speakers from across the country to celebrate the best of American food, farmers and producers. It will offer activities for all ages, most of them free, exploring the delights of a food system that is good, clean and fair. Now through March 30, Slow Food Nation is seeking nominations for foods and producers to include in the inaugural Slow Food Nation event.
